시카고시는 테이스트 오브 시카고 행사를 나스카 거리 경주 (NASCAR street race)일정때문에 9월로 연기한다고 13일 밝혔다.
시카고시의 문화 특별 행사부가 발표한 여름 축제 행사 일정에 따르면
테이스트 오브 시카고(Taste of Chicago)는 그랜트 공원에서 9월 8일부터 10일까지 열린다고 밝혔다. 시카고의 상징적인 행사인 테이스트 오브 시카고(Taste of Chicago)는 매년 7월 초에 열려왔지만 올해는 나스카 거리 경주가 7월 1일부터 2일까지 그랜트 공원에서 열릴 예정이라
부득이 변경되었다. 1980년부터 밴더로 행사에 참여해온 로빈슨씨는 그랜트 팍에서 열려야 많은 이들이 참여할 수 있어 날짜를 바꾸는 것은 중요하지 않다고 말했다. ‘
